Before you go: Tucson job fair tips

  • Sign up ahead of time if the event lets you. It often gets you through the door faster and in front of employers before the crowd.
  • Print more resumes than you think you'll need, and check the event article so you know which employers to visit first.
  • Plan for parking and bring water. Big events at places like the Tucson Convention Center and the Kino Event Center can draw a crowd.
  • Have a quick introduction ready: your name, the kind of work you want, and one reason you'd be a good fit.
  • Get a name and the next step from every recruiter you talk to, and follow up within a couple of days.
