Sprouts Farmers Market holds a two-day hiring event for its new Rita Ranch location on Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16 at the Hilton Tucson East on Broadway, filling out the crew for a store slated to open October 30 at Houghton and Old Vail roads.

A Grocery Store Following the Rooftops
Rita Ranch and Vail have added thousands of residents in a few short years, with Lennar, KB Home and DR Horton all building in the corridor, and retail is catching up. Sprouts runs its hiring events store-wide, so expect openings across every department rather than a single role. The company's store-operations postings for the Rita Ranch location are live on its careers site, and the categories at a typical Sprouts opening include:
- Front end: cashiers, courtesy clerks and baggers
- Produce: clerks who receive, trim, stock and rotate the department at the center of the store
- Deli and bakery: counter service, prepared foods and baking, a natural fit for anyone with food service experience
- Grocery, bulk, dairy and frozen: stock associates and overnight or early-morning receivers
- Meat and seafood: counter clerks and cutters
- Vitamins and body care: clerks who know the supplement aisle
- Leadership: department managers, assistant store managers and team leads
