TUCSON, AZ — Tucson's largest private employer is putting its hiring managers in a hotel ballroom for seven hours next Tuesday. Raytheon holds an in-person Professional Off-Site Hiring Event on Tuesday, September 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the El Conquistador Tucson Hilton Resort, recruiting for roles at its Tucson site.

💡 Not an Engineer? Read That List Again

Four of those eight teams are not engineering. Digital, Quality & Mission Assurance, Finance and Performance Excellence are open to people with backgrounds in data, cybersecurity, accounting, auditing, project planning, program management and process improvement.

This event is aimed at experienced professionals, but Raytheon runs a separate Campus Program for internships, co-ops and early-career roles. How to Work This Room

Register now, not Monday night. The pre-scheduled one-on-one advantage only exists if managers have time to read your resume.
Apply to specific openings before you go. Walking up and saying "I applied to requisition X and wanted to put a face to it" is a completely different conversation than "what do you have?"

That one is looking for machinists, machine operators, maintenance electrician technicians, material handlers, calibration and mechanical service technicians and manufacturing technicians — and the basic qualification is a high school diploma or GED plus one year of relevant experience.
