🔥 Industries Hiring at This Job Fair

The confirmed employer list spans nearly every major industry in Tucson. Here's what's represented — and where to search on TucsonHIRED:

⚡ Three Employers Doing On-Site Interviews

Don't just drop off a resume — you could walk out with a job offer. These three employers have confirmed they'll be interviewing candidates at their booths:

  1. Royal Automotive Group (Gold Sponsor) — In-person interviews at their booth
  2. Amada Senior Care (Bronze Sponsor) — In-person interviews on site for caregiver positions
  3. Talon Analytics (Bronze Sponsor) — Interviewing for aerospace/defense engineering positions on-site

✅ Job Fair Prep Tips — Make the Most of May 6

Showing up is step one. Standing out is the goal. Here's how to get the most out of Wednesday's fair:

  1. Bring 20+ printed resumes. With 35+ employers in the room, you'll want enough for every booth that catches your eye — plus a few extras. Use clean, simple formatting.
  2. Research the employers above. You now have the full list. Spend 15 minutes tonight looking up the companies that match your skills. Knowing what they do before you walk up sets you apart.
  3. Dress one level up. Business casual at minimum. For defense, government, and healthcare booths, lean toward business professional. First impressions happen in seconds.
  4. Prepare a 30-second elevator pitch. "Hi, I'm [Name]. I have [X years] of experience in [field], and I'm interested in [role/industry] because [reason]." Practice it until it feels natural.
  5. Arrive early. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. The first hour is the least crowded and gives you more one-on-one time with recruiters. By noon, the best conversations are already over.
  6. Collect business cards and follow up within 24 hours. A short thank-you email to a recruiter you spoke with goes a long way. Reference something specific from your conversation.
