Seoul Shi officially opened in Tucson after a soft opening during the week of January 5, 2026. The restaurant now operates at 6462 N. Oracle Rd., bringing a unique fusion of Japanese and Korean cuisine to the area, with a standout feature being the only place in Tucson serving Korean raw marinated crab.

About the Owner

Owner Joyce Jin leads the concept, bringing more than 30 years of restaurant experience to Seoul Shi. Regulars may recognize her as the hands-on owner from Kotu Korean BBQ, located just eight minutes south. Jin plans to expand further with a Korean street food restaurant and a dedicated soju bar in Tucson, marking Seoul Shi as her latest expansion in the local dining scene.

Menu Highlights

Seoul Shi blends Japanese sushi with Korean comfort dishes. The menu includes sushi rolls, sashimi, donburi bowls, soups, fried dishes, and Korean entrees. Specialty rolls anchor the sushi menu, including the Lollipop Roll with salmon, tuna, and yellowtail wrapped in cucumber, the Reverse Rainbow featuring salmon, bluefin tuna, and yuzu ponzu, and the Tiger Roll with spicy crab and shrimp tempura for heat seekers.
